In Greek myth, the Furies are feminine earth spirits who rise against injustice. In their most famous story, their rage is contained and co-opted by the corrupt powers that be so that they support the system they threatened. In seeking to set them free — knowing that real change means tempering rage with care and empathy — our work asks:
